1. Day
Check-in starts at 15:00 in Fethiye, where you will be introduced to the team and your fellow guests before moving into your cabin. Once the necessary port paperwork is finalized, the gulet departs the marina, leaving the coast behind to begin your sailing itinerary.
The first stretch of the trip offers an easy transition to the cruising lifestyle. By late afternoon, the gulet anchors in the clear area of Tarzan Bay. This stop is perfectly timed for a first swim and gives everyone a chance to settle into the pace of the journey.
Dinner is served on the deck as evening sets in over the hills. Afterward, the forward deck remains the primary space for socializing and relaxing under the stars. It is a straightforward and high quality start to this Fethiye to Marmaris cabin tour.
2. Day
The day begins at Tarzan Bay before the gulet heads toward the Göcek archipelago, a protected group of islands central to any sailing trip in Turkey. The morning navigation is relaxed, offering views of the forested coastline as we move between the islands.
The first scheduled stop is Cleopatra’s Bath, a site known for its submerged ancient ruins. It provides an excellent environment for swimming in clear, calm waters. Following this, we continue to Bedri Rahmi Bay, a well known location distinguished by its historic rock carved fish motif.
In the afternoon, the itinerary includes a visit to Tersane (Shipyard) Island, where guests can explore shallow reefs and quiet anchorages. By early evening, the gulet moors near Göcek. This upscale marina location is perfect for a shore side walk or experiencing local appetizers at a waterfront restaurant.
It is a day focused on the core elements of a premium sail Turkey holiday: exploration, swimming, and relaxation.
3. Day
Following a relaxed morning cruise, the gulet reaches Ekincik Bay, one of the more secluded anchorages on the Fethiye to Marmaris gulet tour. This bay is known for its calm and open waters, making it an ideal location for swimming, using paddleboards, or relaxing on the deck.
For guests interested in exploring the local culture and nature, an optional excursion to the Dalyan Delta is available. This tour uses smaller riverboats to navigate through the reed lined channels leading to Iztuzu (Turtle) Beach, a protected nesting ground for loggerhead turtles. A key highlight of this trip is the view of the ancient Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs. The excursion also offers an opportunity to visit the region's famous mineral mud baths before returning to the gulet.
The afternoon concludes with a quieter pace back on board. As evening approaches, dinner featuring fresh local seafood is served on the deck. It is an experience that captures the essential calm and professional standard of a Turkish sailing holiday.
4. Day
The morning starts with a visit to Kumlubük, an area recognized for its still waters and deep blue landscape. For those interested in a short trek, the path to the ancient ruins of Amos offers wide reaching views of the coastline and the Mediterranean.
After returning to the gulet, we continue toward Paradise Island, following a scenic route along the forested shore. The afternoon includes a final swimming break and refreshments on deck, providing a quiet period to enjoy the end of the sailing journey.
By early evening, the gulet enters Marmaris harbour. The area is a significant hub for international sailing, featuring a blend of historic Ottoman architecture, waterfront restaurants, and a well-established social scene.
For the final night, the schedule is flexible. Guests can choose to dine at the harbour, enjoy drinks at sunset, or explore the local evening venues. It is a well-rounded conclusion to the Fethiye to Marmaris itinerary.
5. Day
The final morning is spent at Marmaris Marina, with breakfast served on the deck as the harbor begins its daily operations. This provides a final opportunity to enjoy the environment before the journey concludes.
The official check-out time is 09:30, following the meal. After saying goodbye to the crew and fellow guests, the organized portion of the tour ends. While the sailing trip concludes here, the experience often leaves a lasting impression on how guests view the Turkish coastline.
Following departure from the gulet, you may choose to explore the historic center of Marmaris, arrange onward travel to other regions of Turkey, or extend your stay in the local area. It is the final step in a professional and well-structured Fethiye-to-Marmaris sailing experience.
